Connecting to NIACC Robotics VDI

1. Open an HTML5 browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
2. Navigate to the URL –
   • https://console.nutanix.com/niacc
3. Select “Sign in with NIACC VDI Login” –

4. Log in using you NIACC account. -    

5. If you see the following prompt, select “START SESSION” –

6. If you do not see the Ubuntu prompt, select the Rocket icon in the lower left screen. –

7.  After selecting the Rocket icon, then select “Robotics” –

               Then select “START SESSION”

8. Once the session loads, you should see the Linux desktop with a Frame prompt explaining how to manage your session.  After reading this and accessing the hover bar, simply ‘X’ out of the prompt.  –

9. You will now how access to the session Desktop and can launch your URSim program by double-clicking the icon. –

10. When you are done with your session, hover over the middle top of the page so the session options appear, and select “Quit” –

11. Select “Quit” again when prompted. –
